Gale “Santa Chicago” Teschendorf (born September 23, 1955) is an American Santa Claus portrayal artist based in the Chicago area.

Santa Chicago made numerous appearances including Macy’s Chicago State Street store, Hilton Hotels, corporate parties. Appeared at campgrounds including Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park and on the baseball fields of the Joilet Slammers, Kenosha Kingfish, & the Madison Mallards. Rode the Santa Express to Union Station & back a couple of times.

Santa Chicago is working with 5 professional photographers this year.

Santa Chicago appeared at Tree Lighting Ceremonies in Valparaiso, IN.

Santa Chicago’s appearances include Allendale Shelter Club (special needs) and more than a hundred home & business visits, and dinner parties.

When on vacation he might pop onto the set of TV shows & movies. ABC7 News, Widows, Shameless, Empire, Fargo, Chicago PD, HBO Comedy Special, Lightyears, Utopia, The Red Line, Station 11, Say My Name, & Proven Innocent to name a few.
